The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun West Senatorial District has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Chief Bisi Akande, on the occasion of his 86th birthday, taking place on January 16, 2025.
In a statement signed by Hon. Omolaoye O. Akintola, Chairman of the APC in Osun West, the district expressed gratitude to God for preserving Chief Akande, whose wisdom and leadership have greatly influenced Nigerian politics, especially since the inception of the Fourth Republic in 1999.

Highlighting their agenda for the upcoming political dispensation, the Osun West APC leadership appealed to Chief Akande to support the district’s aspirations for political inclusion as preparations for the 2026 elections gather momentum. The appeal, described as a “righteous deed of birthday,” seeks to ensure a sense of belonging for the district in the state’s political landscape.
