Osun Concert Disaster: @PremiumIDAN Blasts B-Red’s Show as “3 Years of Clownery,” Says Even Empty Chairs Deserve Refund Over ‘Emotional Damage’

One of Osun’s prominent media and event consultants, Mr. Alawode Olamide, popularly known on X as @PremiumIDAN, has stirred fresh controversy following his scathing review of a recent concert headlined by B-Red, son of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke.

In a series of posts on his X handle, Olamide did not hold back, describing the event as nothing short of a disappointment and branding it “three years of clownery.” He went further to call on Osun youths to take legal action against the organisers, suggesting they should be sued for “emotional damage” over what he implied was a poorly executed show.

“What B-Red called a ‘concert’ last night? Osun people should sue for emotional damage. I pity the boy, he is not supposed to go through that emotional stress,” he wrote.

Olamide painted a grim picture of the event, alleging that the concert suffered from low turnout, poor coordination, and multiple technical failures from the promoter. According to him, the show was so underwhelming that “even the chairs are asking for refund,” a sarcastic jab at what he described as a near-empty venue.

He also claimed that attendees were subjected to long waiting hours, suggesting the concert had been overhyped for years despite originally being framed as part of an election-season buildup.

“The concert flopped so bad… Man performed to empty chairs and vibes,” he added, while listing issues such as total darkness, reports of stolen phones, poor sound quality, and the absence of several billed artists.

Taking a swipe at the political undertones of the event, Olamide further alleged that even the influence of the governor could not drive attendance, remarking that “even Daddy Governor’s ‘clout’ couldn’t fill two rows.”

The consultant also used the moment to defend local creatives, noting that the head of Osun artists whom he claimed had been previously underrated did not attend the event.

In a mix of sarcasm and political undertones, he concluded that the low turnout was a silent protest by Osun youths, hinting at possible electoral implications ahead of future polls.

He also cautioned Nigerian music star Davido against adopting a similar approach for any future shows in the state, warning that following the same “script” could lead to another failure.

As of the time of this report, neither B-Red nor the event organisers have issued an official response to the claims.
