BABS Hails Chief Bisi Akande’s Legacy as the Statesman Marks 86th Birthday

Alhaji Bello Adegboyega Basheer, (BABS), has joined countless Nigerians in celebrating the iconic Chief Bisi Akande on his 85th birthday. BABS, a respected leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, and the immediate past Managing Director of the Osun Public Procurement Agency, described Chief Akande as a rare gem whose life has left an indelible mark on Nigeria.

In his press release, BABS highlighted Chief Akande’s exceptional contributions to governance and nation-building. “Chief Akande is a leader like no other. His integrity, wisdom, and selflessness are a shining example for all of us,” he said.

Chief Akande, who served as the Governor of Osun State and later as the interim chairman of the APC, is credited with laying the groundwork for the party’s national success. His tenure as governor was marked by bold reforms that transformed Osun State and set a standard for leadership.

“Baba’s dedication to grassroots development and his commitment to a united Nigeria inspire not just leaders in politics, but everyone who believes in building a better future for this country,” BABS noted.

As Chief Akande celebrates this remarkable milestone, BABS expressed his heartfelt wishes for a long and healthy life filled with happiness. “We are grateful for his guidance and the legacy he has built. Baba Omo Keekeke remains a beacon of hope and strength for all of us,” he added.
