Ambassador Niniola Congratulates Oyebamiji on His Emergence as APC Candidate

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Protocol, Ambassador Issah Adedotun Niniola, has congratulated Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) on his emergence as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his affirmation by the party’s National Primary Election Committee, led by Governor Monday Okpebholo.

Ambassador Niniola described Oyebamiji’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in his capacity, experience, and track record in public service, noting that the process which produced him was transparent, peaceful, and in line with the party’s guidelines.

He said Oyebamiji’s political journey and administrative background, spanning the banking sector, Osun State Government, and his last National assignment role at the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), positioned him as a leader with proven competence and institutional knowledge.

According to Niniola, Oyebamiji’s roles as former Commissioner for Finance in Osun State and as a key figure in the reform of the Osun State Investment Company Limited, now Omoluabi Holdings, demonstrated his ability to strengthen systems, manage resources prudently, and deliver results.

The presidential aide also commended the National Primary Election Committee led by Governor Okpebholo for what he described as the credible conduct of the primary election, adding that the exercise further reinforced the APC’s commitment to internal democracy.

He urged party members and stakeholders across Osun State to rally behind the party’s candidate and work collectively to ensure unity and effective mobilisation ahead of future political engagements.

Ambassador Niniola reaffirmed his confidence that Oyebamiji’s emergence would strengthen the APC’s prospects and provide a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, and people-oriented governance.
