The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Protocol, Ambassador Issah Adedotun Niniola, has charged members of the Ajose Movement to intensify efforts in mobilising voters for physical registration with INEC, as he drummed support for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO). He gave this charge during a meeting with the leadership of the movement at his residence in G.R.A, Osogbo.
Ambassador Niniola noted that the success recorded during the pre-registration exercise was not enough, stressing that physical registration remains the most critical stage to ensure that voters are duly captured in the register. According to him, this will guarantee the party’s victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state and 2027 general election.
The Presidential aide also used the occasion to rally support for AMBO as the primary election draws nearer. “It is important for us to know that our primary election is fast approaching, and I am confident to say that AMBO is the right candidate we must all support. We must, as a matter of fact, commence a very strategic campaign for his aspiration,” he stated.
He further assured members that their efforts towards canvassing and supporting AMBO would not be in vain. “Whatever you do in the course of mobilising and canvassing for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji will not be wasted. You will be duly rewarded. He is educated, capable, visionary, and has a proven track record in both the public and private sectors. He will not disappoint or embarrass our state in any capacity,” he affirmed.
In response, the leadership of the Ajose Movement which comprises artisans, market men and women, youths, and students commended Ambassador Niniola for the consistent support he has given to the party and the group in the course of voter mobilisation. They noted that his contributions have gone a long way in strengthening their efforts, while also praying for him to enjoy long life, good health, and greater accomplishments.
Ambassador Niniola also took the opportunity to enlighten members about various policies and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration designed for students, artisans, traders, and market men and women. He urged them not to miss out on these opportunities.
